Smashburger
I had been hearing about Smashburger for the last couple of months and I seen one was about to open downtown near the Crescent hotel. I always look at the menu of restaurants never been to online so I can get out a idea of what I want. So I order the Classic Smashburger. The classic Smashburger has 1/3 or 1/2 patty of Angus beef, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, smash sauce on a nice toasted bun. This has to be one of the best burgers I ever had. The burger is so juicy. I have to go back ASAP so can get another burger, try the fries and the shake.

Freebirds
Every time I tried to go to Freebirds the lines was always long. While I was out Christmas shopping I finally got a chance to try it out. I started to get a burrito but I decided to get a burrito bowl. My bowl consisted of chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, black beans, rice, and shredded cheese. The bowl was good but not better Chipotle. I plan on going back so I can try one of those huge burritos they have. So I would recommend Freebirds to everybody.

Divino's Pizza
I was at work and one of my friends text me about a pizza place. I love pizza, so I was like I will try it one weekend. That day after I got off work, I went across town and found Divino's Pizza. Its a little pizza spot near downtown Dallas. The place is so small, you can maybe get like 10 people in this place. This is traditional New York style pizza. The slices are huge. The prices are very cheap. If you want great pizza at great prices go here.

Angry Dog
I had been reading about Angry Dog for a long time in the Dallas Observer. So one night after I got off work I went by the Angry Dog so I can try it out. I think I looked at the menu for about 30 minutes on my phone but I decided what I wanted. So I ordered the beer battered chicken strips and some cheese covered fries. The tenders was so huge they was like half a piece of a chicken breast. They was so crunchy. The cheese fries go very well with the ranch dip. I have to go back and try more because these two things I ordered was actually off the appetizer section.

McRIB
Over the years I have heard good & bad reviews about it. So I didn't want to get anything else so I ordered the McRib value meal. This McDonald's I went to usually has sorry service and sloppy food but they actually took they time and made a good sandwich. The McRib meat was very tender plus sauce was very good. I plan on trying it one more time before it leaves McDonald's.

Homerun Pizza
I actually stumble across this place because I got lost looking for this place. I love pizza so I'm willing to give all pizza places at least one try. Homerun pizza was offering a special of one large pizza one topping (14") for $5.99. So I ordered a large pepperoni. The customer service of the place was very friendly. My wait for my order was not that long. When I got home I tried my very first bite of the pizza and my mouth like what it was tasting. The crust was very crunchy and the toppings tasted very good. My only complain that I had was that the pizza was good but I wanted to try something different. When I say different I mean good pizza but not the same taste as the tradition pizza places like pizza hut and etc. If you like to support local own businesses I suggest you try them out.

Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory
One day me and one of my friends ( I call her one of my angels on earth) was talking about Red Velvet cake and stumbled across this delicious treat. It is the Ultimate Red velvet cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory. You can find this treat at Cheesecake Factory or at Sam's Club. The cheesecake consists of a red velvet cake layered with rich cream cheese frosting and garnished with white chocolate curls. When I took my first bite of this mouth watering dessert, all I could say is this thing is good. If you know me then you know I have a huge sweet tooth. This is truly a edible delight that I will purchase again!!!!

SANDWACKERS
Today's review is of place called Sandwackers. They have two locations. One in Duncanville and another Grand Prairie. Their specialty is fresh deli sandwiches but they do offer other treats. All their sandwiches have unique names. Mostly are old TV characters. So on this day I decided to try the "Sourdough Sandchick". "Sourdough Sandchick" consists of oven baked chicken breast Seasoned with lemon pepper, Swiss Cheese, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Ranch Dressing on Toasted Sourdough Bread. I really didn't taste lemon pepper flavor of the chicken. I'm bacon lover but the bacon was to rubbery. Fresh veggies on the sandwich but the lady was real stingy with the Ranch dressing. This sandwich was real so-so but I'm have to go back so I can try another sandwich to make sure the other sandwich was just a fluke.

XXL Chalupa @ Taco Bell
The first time I seen XXL Chalupa I was like this looks good and I need to try it out. One day before I went to work I stopped by Taco Bell so I could try it out. The XXL Chalupa has a crispy Chalupa shell filled with seasoned ground beef, lettuce, salsa, a blend of three cheeses (cheddar, pepper jack, & mozzarella), nacho cheese sauce, red strips and topped with sour cream. I must say that this chalupa is real good. The chalupa shell was so warm and the fillings made this treat worth the purchase.

Mi Cocina
Last Wednesday one of my friends took me Mi Cocina for my birthday. The layout for this restaurant is very nice. The lights are dim like a club and interior design of the restaurant is very urban but classy. The only problem I had was the area we sat in, the tables was to close together. Lets get to the food. We first started off with chips & salsa. The salsa was chunky and very tasty. The chips where nothing to brag on. Next my friend ordered some guacamole to go with our chips. This was probably some of the freshest tasting guacamole I ever had. The menu had so many things I wanted tryout but I decided on getting some enchiladas. I ordered two cheese and one spinach. The sides included well seasoned rice and Coleslaw ala Mexicana. The coleslaw had a real unique taste but it was good. The enchiladas had very great taste to them and I was very please. I would love to go back so I can try other delicious eats on the menu.

Wicked Wings @ Golden Chick
Anybody that knows me know I love food or sports. Since its college football season I have a tradition I call Wicked Wings Saturday. Every Saturday & Sunday Golden Chicken has 45 cents wings. The wicked wings are crispy fried chicken wings with a special spicy seasoning that they sprinkle on top. I really love these wings. I usually get 10-15 but if I'm hungry I might get more. If you love wings, I would suggest you to try these.

TACO CASA
I think the first time I seen Taco Casa was in the country. Recently one of my friends told me it was a few in the area. So I took a little trip to Garland to try out this taco spot out. I ended up arriving there at the lunch time. The inside was packed and the drive-thru line was long. So I got in line and began looking at the menu to see what I wanted. I ended up ordering a chilada, a super taco, and medium tea. The chilada consists of a steamed flour tortilla filled with ground beef & refried beans, smothered in mild red sauce, cheddar cheese and topped with black olives. The super taco consists of a large crisp deep fried corn tortilla filled with ground beef, sour cream, shredded lettuce, then topped with cheddar cheese and fresh tomatoes. The chilada was good. It was more beans then beef. The super taco was good also. The lettuce and tomatoes where real fresh. The meat was seasoned real well and it had lots cheese just how I like it. The tea was actually good. If you order any super item off the menu you get a medium size tea for 49 cents. I would say my first visit to Taco Casa was pretty good but there should be more locations so I won't have to travel so far.

Deep Sushi
This afternoon one of my friends texted me and said lets get some sushi after I get off work. So I was like cool. My friend had been telling me about this place, so we met up at Deep Sushi in Deep Ellum. I can truly say I had sushi before but I didn't know what to order this time. So my friend gave me some suggestions and I ordered the Philadelphia Roll. The Philadelphia Roll consists of Smoked salmon, cream cheese, & avocado. First thing I had to do was learn how to use chopsticks. After I did that I was able to enjoy this delicious meal. My friend ordered the same thing plus some spicy tuna rolls which was good too. I enjoyed my first time at a sushi spot and I will be back!!!!

State Fair Edition
This past Sunday was the last day of the State Fair of Texas. I love going to the Fair to eat. They had so many things I wanted to try. I had to control myself so I wouldn't blow up my stomach and kill my wallets. The first thing I had was Chicken fried bacon. It was very crunchy and good but I think it needed some ranch lol. Next was some seasoned curly fries with a nice cup of good lemonade. After that I had my favorite Fair food, Fletcher's Corny Dogs. They are great. My last treat of the day was Fried Cheesecake. It was so good. I wish had some strawberries to top off this delicious treat!!!

The Cupcakery
Anybody that knows me know that I love sweets. One of my twitter friends made mention of a cupcake place in Dallas. I asked what was the name of the place and that was how I discovered the Cupcakery. I checked out there website to get a idea of what I might want to try out. On my first visit I got two cupcakes. I ordered the Southern Belle (red velvet cupcake) and a lemon cupcake. These cupcakes are so moist and the icing is so tasty. If you have a major sweet tooth try this place out.

Burguesa Burgers
One day I was watching TV and they was talking about this place which sold burgers with a Mexican twist. So I got on the net and used my trusty friend call google and discovered Burguesa Burgers. I decided to go one day after work and try them out. I ordered Combo #1 which was La Monumental Burger, fries, and a drink. The La Monumental Burger has special creamy sauce, avocado, onion, tomato, lettuce, refried beans, crunchy tostada, ham, 2 slices of cheese & 2 all beef patties. I know that's a unique combo but this burger was good. The fries come regular or with a spicy seasoning. The place is kinda small but the service is great. I recommend this place to anybody who wants to try something new & unique.

RAISING CANE’S
For like two years I had been hearing people talk about Raising Cane's. Being a fan of chicken tenders I knew I had to try this place out. Maybe like a couple of months ago the open a location in North Dallas that I went and tried out. First of all I said to myself these tenders better be good because I got caught in the rain. It was the Grand Opening so the place was packed. I ordered the Box Combo which includes 4 chicken tenders/fries/Texas toast/Coleslaw/cane sauce/drink. The tenders was crunchy & very juice and sauce was a perfect for them. The fries was nice and hot but I don't care to much for crinkle fries. The Texas toast was real tasty and the coleslaw was real good. Overall I truly enjoyed my meal and I planned on visiting again.
